FLORIDA (VINnews) — Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to address a Torah U’Mesorah conference on Friday.

As reported in Politico, Trump is set to deliver a speech at the annual President’s Conference of Torah Umesorah which will take place at his club, National Doral, in Miami. The event is part of a days-long gathering that brings together leaders, educators and askanim.
Trump was condemned recently by a range of Jewish leaders, including Orthodox, after dining with antisemites Kanye West and Nick Fuentes.
At the recent Agudah Convention, Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zweibel, executive VP of Agudath Israel of America, appeared to condemn Trump, saying: “A former president of the US inviting to his own home two notorious antisemites…I still have not heard him even denounce what they believe…Al Tivtechu B’nedivim…yesterday’s friend can be tomorrow’s greatest enemy.”

Ben Shapiro mockingly chided Trump in a tweet for claiming that he never heard of Fuentes. Shapiro wrote: “A good way not to accidentally dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you don’t know is not to dine with a vile racist and anti-Semite you do know.”

Activist Dov Hikind tweeted: “If @realDonaldTrump welcomes vicious & unrepentant antisemites like Kanye and his strange neo-Nazi bedfellow Nick Fuentes to Mar a Lago, we could expect more and worse if Trump were in the WH again! All that because they say nice things about the former president.”
However Trump has a long history of supporting Jews and Israel, and many members of the orthodox community are still highly supportive of him. In addition, his daughter Ivanka ,one of his closest advisors, is an orthodox convert to Judaism, and her children, Trump’s grandchildren, are orthodox Jews.
Torah Umesorah has hosted several prior annual president’s conference events at Trump’s Doral club.
A few years back thr NRA hosted a booth at this TU event. A number of years back a speaker at this event went basically full out politically for Trump. It is time to speak up and let TU know that shouldstick to Torah Umesorah and avodas Hakodesh and stop the politics.
Maybe he can hawk his new digital tokens.
Maybe he can market his new trump card for curriculums in the schools.
