Senator Rand Paul, a lone voice against the massive spending by Congress, as well as trillion-dollar deficits, released his yearly report of the billions being wasted on insane government programs and studies.

Some examples:

  • $1.1 million to study drunk mice
  • $200K to purchase Starbucks espresso machines for the Pentagon (at least the military will be perky)
  • $3M to inject hamsters with steroids and watching them fight
  • 2.3M to inject dogs with cocaine
  • $475 BILLION in interest payments on the national debt
  • $118K to study whether the movie villain Thanos can snap his fingers while wearing a metal gauntlet (no joke)
  • $168 million to coach illegals on how to AVOID deportation

You cannot make this stuff up.

PLUS: Jewish victims of Arab terror attacks are suing Joe Biden, who broke the law by sending billions in funding to Palestinian terrorists. Texas Governor Jim Abbott sends busloads of illegals to the home of VP Kamala Harris, to prevent them from dying of hypothermia. Yet Kamala, who is supposed to be in charge of the border mess, refused to even invite them in to warm up. Much more.

We are living in the greatest of times in America. Millions, Trillions, it is just some abstract number. Spend all we can and let others get rich as we are living the good life. Don’t have more money….. just print it!
What happens when this all falls apart? Fake money never worked for long in any society. At this point we can never repay the 30 Trillion, wiyh a “T” we owe already, so live the good life as long as possible, why not?

Studying drunk mice may prove to be useful. It may help to explain why Democrats are the way they are.

There is nothing new about the waste in government spending. What about the billions spent on medicinal research only to have the pharmaceutical companies make the return and claim high prices due to research costs

Without the details, it’s hard to evaluate the true worth.
However, “drunk mice” sounds absurd until you think of the thousands of alcoholics and the need to better understand the effects of alcohol.
Steroids? Why does using steroids lead to some people becoming angrier?
And these are small-ticket items (“budget dust”).

Now, the $475B in interest payments? That’s a real problem.

Rand Paul, isn’t he the supporter of President Trump who opposes aid to Israel?

OK, so how do we know studying “drunken mice” is a waste? Until we look into to it, we cannot know what great economic benefits such a study might produce. As for Senator Paul, he is a silly man opposes vaccines, aid to Israel, and the anti-lynching bill.

He of course supports President Trump.

I don’t know the details of the rest of them but I have no problem with the Pentagon getting top of the line coffee machines. It’s a 24-7 operation. For the others, you would need to look at the aid applications but it does seem wasteful.
