The excitement is palpable.  It is a cooking event for single women who have lost a parent or sibling, r”l.  And it is a chance for them to bond, meet new people and interact. It is being held at Apron Masters in Woodmere and it is tomorrow night, January 11th.  Instruction will be given by two chefs, one who works for El Al and another master chef as well.   Then the participants will start their cooking adventure!

Participants are coming from throughout the New York Metropolitan area.  The event is free for participants, and four more spots are still available.  If anyone is interesting in helping to sponsor the event – please email the project coordinator at [email protected].  Future events are planned as well, so please email to be added on to the mailing list.

It is under the hashgacha of the Vaad of Five Towns and Far Rockaway.

The author knows the organizer personally and can vouch for her completely.  Rabbi Hoffman can be reached at [email protected]

I believe they are short about $1000. – yh
