BROOKLYN (VINnews) — A Jewish man was murdered in a stabbing incident Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 PM on Tuesday night, in front of Kaché Restaurant and Lounge on Flatbush Ave., located near Avenue O in Marine Park.
According to reports, 30-Year-Old Nissan Shalom was attacked after getting into some sort of altercation with another man.
After stabbing Shalom, the perpetrator escaped the scene, heading in the direction of Quinton St., where he dropped his knife.
Shalom was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but was tragically pronounced dead approximately a half hour after he was stabbed.
Chesed Shel Emes was at the scene on Wednesday.
The attacker remains at large, while the NYPD investigates.

Sad. He always had a smile for my son and I when we would come in to eat. I used to come in and grab a slice each Sunday and sit with my son in the old J2 (Ave M). He would always engage my son with some warm regards. He will be missed.
