Dr. Howard Saul was last seen scuba diving in the area of Hollywood Beach, Florida on January 26th.

A search was launched for the missing 66 year old board certified gynecological oncologist, with helicopters and boats called in to aid in the search. He was spotted this morning in full diving equipment next to the Margaritaville Hotel in Hollywood Beach, a popular spot for scuba divers.

A pioneer in cancer treatment studies, Dr. Saul practiced magic on the side, using his hobby to distract anxious patients.

According to Philly Voice (bit.ly/3HB23Xf) Dr. Saul would frequent local hospices and pediatric hospitals, sharing the tricks of the trade with staff there to gladden their patients’ hearts.

Chesed Shel Emes Florida is working with authorities to preserve the dignity of the deceased.

Worked for & with Dr Saul for many years when he was practicing at The Cancer for Cancer & Hematologic Disease in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Working with Dr Saul was a wonderful experience and a pleasure. I referred to him fondly as “Chief” & he called me “Little Chief”. We had such a wonderful rapport with one another. Along with being a knowledgeable physician, He was such an upbeat person & always had a positive attitude. His patients at the Center adored him as he did all his patients.
My heart goes out to his wonderful wife Gail as well as his daughter & son. My sincere condolences to all.
I will always remember Dr Saul fondly. God bless & rest his soul.
