TURKEY (VINnews) — A vicious pro-terrorist, anti-Israel activist is facing intense backlash on Twitter, after posting a cruel, insensitive, and false tweet attacking Israel over its generous decision to help earthquake victims in Turkey.

He also politicized the massive humanitarian tragedy taking place before our eyes.
Former journalist Daniel Easterman falsely accused Israel of exploiting the tragedy in Turkey. In truth, Israel is magnanimously and selflessly assisting earthquake victims in enemy territory, after the country was terribly ravaged by the disaster.

Easterman tweeted: “Going to say the truth now even though it’s not polite. Every time there is an earthquake or humanitarian disaster, Israel immediately tries to exploit the tragedy to gain political capital and improve it’s international image. The cynicism makes me sick.”
In response, he was decimated by dozens of Twitter users.
Joel Petlin, outspoken superintendent of Kiryas Joel, tweeted a remarkable video of the IDF miraculously rescuing a young woman from the rubble.
He wrote: “I wonder if this 23 year old Turkish woman who was rescued from the rubble of the #earthquakeinturkey by a group of Israeli soldiers would agree that Israel is *exploiting a tragedy*,” He added, “Dan should delete his cynical tweet and then delete his Twitter account.”
Many others expressed similar sentiments and outrage at Easterman’s despicable and false claims.
The notion that Jews only help non-Jews when they stand to gain carries more than a whiff of antisemitism. How repulsive.
In point of fact, helping those in need has been embedded in Israel's DNA since its founding.
