Matzeivos Unveiled of Terror Victims Asher and Yaakov Paley HY”D

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The Matzeivos of two young Charedi boys who were tragically struck down by a terrorist were unveiled Sunday at Har HaMenuchos cemetery. According to reports, the official Hakamas Matzeiva ceremony is scheduled for Monday.

The gravestones of brothers Asher Menachem and Yaakov Yisrael Paley HY”D were unveiled thirty days after their tragic murder in a ramming attack in Ramot.

On Monday, the family is expected to attend the ceremony, including the boys’ father, Rav Avraham Noach, who was severely injured in the attack and whose condition has improved.

The gravestones read:

“Here lies the holy child, clean and pure, the love of Torah glowed through him, Asher Menachem Paley HY’D, son of Rabbi Avraham Noach, who was murdered al Kiddush Hashem Yisborach at the age of seven, together with his brother, and his Neshama rose to Shamayim at the onset of Shabbos Kodesh, the Parsha of Kabalas HaTorah, 20 Shevat 5783.

And with their deaths, the name of The Holy One Blessed Be He was sanctified throughout the entire world.”

“Earth, do not cover their blood.”

“Here lies the holy child, clean and pure, the love of Torah glowed through him, Yaakov Yisrael Paley HY’D, son of Rabbi Avraham Noach, who was murdered al Kiddush Hashem Yisborach on Erev Shabbos, the Shabbos of Kabalas HaTorah, at the age of five, together with his brother. He was buried before the onset of Shabbos, 19 Shevat 5783.

And with their deaths, the name of The Holy One Blessed Be He was sanctified throughout the entire world.”
