The boy was a student of the “Lev Simcha” Talmud Torah of Gur Hasidism in the city. Since he fell from the porch last week, he had been hospitalized in Assuta Hospital in serious condition.
United Hatzalah volunteers at site of child’s fall in Ashdod
In the last week, chapters of Tehillim were recited as his family prayed for his recovery. Unfortunately, on Sunday he was declared dead in the children’s ICU at Assuta Hospital. His relatives recited prayers at his bedside.
The boy is the grandson of Rabbi Shaul Dov Wallach, one of the leading rabbis in the city.
It appears that the child fell after the glass partition of a balcony was removed to allow for the entry of building materials in preparation for a planned renovation of the apartment.
Following the incident, the police opened an investigation and even arrested one person on suspicion of negligence.
Funeral of Roisa Shtisl A’H
Last week, the Ashdod chareidi community suffered the loss of 37-year-old Roisa Shtisl, who died suddenly of cardiac arrest. Shtisl, a member of the local Belz-Machzikei Hadas community, is survived by her husband and five children aged between 17 and 1.
Boruch Dayan Emes.
Very misleading article. There were 2 unrelated incidents but they are lumped together here.
Boruch Dayan Emes.
Most misleading title ever. The two deaths RL aren’t connected. But vin in its sensationalism is fine with impressing readers that the mother died of cardiac arrest upon learning of her son’s death, like Sarah after Yitzchok’s akeida.
BDE. She was 37 y.o. and had a cardiac arrest? Could it be she took the shot?
