Rabbi Dee Slams CNN for Falsely Claiming Family Members Killed in ‘Shootout’

ISRAEL (VINnews) — Rabbi Leo Dee, who tragically lost his wife and two of his daughters (HY”D) in a Pesach terror attack, has blasted CNN’s “terror journalism” and is demanding an apology.

Rabbi Dee’s comments came in response to leftist host Christine Amanpour, who egregiously called the attack a “shootout”, equating both sides, when in reality three innocent victims were tragically targeted and gunned down, just for being Jewish.

According to a tweet by ‘Honest Reporting’, Rabbi Dee said: “This is the perfect example of ‘terror journalism’ where you have moral equivalence between the terrorist and victim.”

He added, “This type of journalism perpetuates the conflict in the Middle East. The real cycle of violence is a comment like this followed by a terrorist atrocity and then more of the same.”

“I demand an immediate apology.”

It's been five days since we called on @amanpour to apologize for saying the Dee family were "killed in a shootout."

Neither she nor @CNN has responded.

On Thursday, orthodox Jewish podcast host Ben Shapiro slammed Amanpour. Shapiro tweeted the video and wrote: “Amanpour has always been an anti-Israel propagandist. This is just the most egregious example.”

In April, Rabbi Dee slammed CNN, after reporter Christina Macfarlane equated his family’s murder with Israel’s acts of self-defense against Palestinians.
