ADAMS’ NYC: ‘Health’ Dept Sets Up Vending Machines to Dispense Free Crack Pipes

NEW YORK CITY (Yaakov M / VINnews) — New York City is setting up new vending machines which will dispense free merchandise. They will not be giving out soda or candy bars, but crack pipes and other drug related items.

You cannot make this stuff up.

As part of a new program by Democrats to promote better “health”, city officials unveiled a street vending machine Monday that covers it all for drug-users, offering free ‘paraphernalia’ such as crack pipes, lip balm — and also Narcan for overdoses.

The machine, which will be placed in the most drug-infested neighborhoods, offers the drug-related freebies to try to combat the surge in overdoses in the five boroughs, according to city “Health Department” officials.

“Every three hours, we’re losing a New Yorker [to drugs]. And it looks like 2022 is on track to be our highest year ever in overdoses,’’ Health and Mental Hygiene Commissioner Ashwin Vasan said at a press conference next to the first machine.

He specifically noted the increasing presence of Xylazine, a veterinary drug known as “Tranq” or the “zombie drug’’ that can leave users in a catatonic state and with conditions that eat their flesh off.

The machines also include the overdose-preventing drug Narcan, drug-test strips that detect fentanyl and “Safer Smoking” kits complete with a heavy stem pipe, mouthpiece and lip balm that can be used to smoke crack and crystal meth.

There also are “Safer Sniffing’’ kits. Unlike with private drug dealers, people don’t need to pay for these items; they simply punch in their zip code to get access.

A February 2022 investigation by the Washington Free Beacon found that a $30 million Biden administration harm-reduction program would fund the distribution of “safe-smoking kits,” which generally include crack pipes.
