Jake Turx Questions Whether Bin Laden Was Behind 9/11 Attacks

(VINnews) On Monday, Jake Turx stirred up a bit of controversy on Twitter, when he questioned who the real villain was behind the 9/11 attacks.

While the noted Ami columnist and White House correspondent did not appear to suggest that Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were not responsible, he questioned what specific evidence exists, proving Bin Laden’s culpability. He appeared to agree that Khaleed Sheik Mohammed was the 9/11 architect, and only questioned OBL’s role.

In addition, Turx pointed out the idiosyncratic notion that the same government which, after many weeks, is incapable of pinpointing the culprit who left a bag of cocaine in the White House, managed to identify Bin Laden as the 9/11 mastermind within hours.

Turx tweeted: “Can someone explain to me how the same government that still has no clue who brought cocaine into the West Wing, was somehow able to pinpoint Osama Bin Laden, from some cave halfway around the world, as the mastermind of 9/11 within mere hours?”

He continued, “While I love a good conspiracy as much as the next guy, that’s not what this is about at all. I’m genuinely drawing a blank on what evidence we’ve actually been presented that OBL was behind it. Think of how long it takes the US gvmt to figure out anything, but somehow, they managed to solve this one in hours, at a time when the whole government was crippled?”

One Twitter user, Walter Sobchak, grilled Turx, however he did not appear to provide a substantive rebuttal to Jake’s questions.

He wrote, “Not only was there direct evidence that Al Qaeda trained 9/11 terrorists, but Osama bin Laden literally announced that he carried out the 9/11 attacks. I get that some feel the need to question everything, but maybe we should do a Google search before defending Osama bin Laden….”

Turx responded that he was not defending Bin Laden, just questioning the facts. He wrote: “No one is defending anyone. Just remind me what that direct evidence was so we can all move on.”

Sobchak then accused Turx of engaging in copnsiracy theories, and rubbing salt on the wounds of 9/11 victims’ families. He suggested that Turx read books about the topic. However he did not provide any evidence, or name any books.

Turx repled, “I haven’t promoted a single conspiracy theory. I asked what I thought was a simple question, and no one seems to have an answer. As far as I know, KSM was the mastermind behind 9/11. But what was OBL’s role? How are we so certain? And how did we already know this ON 9/11?”

Sobchak replied, “There are a lot of books about 9/11. How many have you read?”

Turx said, “I just want to see one book that presents evidence tying OBL to 9/11. Where do I find this book?”

At that point Sobchak said, “Maybe like contact someone who is familiar with research and talk to them about it.”

He also said that he was not going to respond by giving Jake “an intel briefing”.

Nothing wrong with a journalist questioning a government narrative.
Shockingly it’s their job

Osama spoke on videotape in 2004 and admitted that he was behind 9/11.
No questions. No doubts.

I believe the Taliban also claimed there was no evidence that Osama was involved.

Everybody seems to have forgotten the historical details of 911. First: When the event took place, Bin Laden DENIED he had anything to do with it. He only took credit long later when the world was convinced that it was a FACT he did it. Within a week of 911, I wrote an article which I sent to Newsmax, CNS, and one other conservative website that had published my commentaries. In the article I made the case that 911 was NOT the work of Bin Laden, only it was the work of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and was intended to incite the U.S.A. to destroy Al Qaida and Bin Laden by promoting the notion that he was the culprit. Bin Laden didn’t care about damaging the U.S. he was at odds with S.A. and wanted to depose the kingdom and take over Mecca. He blew up the U.S. war ship in Aden because he wanted all foreigners out of Arabia, but he had no history of attacking foreigners in their countries. I think Turx’s speculation is correct.

There is a reason for the saying “Never Forget”. It seems that Turx has forgotten a lot. Al Qaida headed by Osama Bin Laden were responsible for many terror attacks before 9/11, and had previously made their intent clear that they wanted to topple the WTC towers. The FBI already had a whole unit working on tracking all their whereabouts. The architect ‘may’ have been KSM but OBL was definitely head of the organization.
As for the cocaine in the white house – that is just usual government cover up, not wanting to admit whose it was or where it came from.

This is a wild one.
But thanks Turx for the entertainment, you’re entitled with your opinion.
I don’t think it should be in the headlines though.

The truth is they know who brought it in. But are keeping quiet so as to protect the president and his son. The senile old man is still being protected by the press by the DOJ and FBI. The more they hide the truth the more trump

Why os everyone so caught up on evidence!? We all know how the game works. Govts, including USA, run the show and do as they please and we are not allowed to expose them. Those Americans who abide by these rules are allowed so-called freedom of speech and to prosper in the economy. Those who don’t join the 1,000,000 plus incarcerated or the grave dwellers. Everyone knows exactly what is happening. Just can’t take the truth disclosure too far.

Turx heard that Biden was of the opinion to not go after Osama. Therefore he concluded that it must be that Biden knows that it was someone else. The cocaine on the other hand, Biden never insinuated whose it was.

bin laden took responsibility for it. if turx wants to argue otherwise, the onus is on him to provide evidence to the contrary. simply pointing a finger at the cocaine in the west wing isn’t enough.
