He asked Rabbi Meir Hecht, head of Chabad of Evanston, and the Rabbi of now-released hostages Judith and Natalie Raanan, how he can make sense of the evil we have witnessed.
Tapper, explaining that as a journalist he asks tough questions, asked: “How do you explain this? If there’s a G-d, how do you explain October 7th? How do you explain Hamas…people that would do this?”
