MIDDLE EAST (VINNews) — The Palestinian Authority slammed the United States’ veto on an insane resolution in the UN Security Council that would demand Israel stop the war in Gaza. It accused the US of being “an accomplice in the crime of mass extermination, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes.”

A statement from the “Palestinian presidency”, headed by PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas, expressed bewilderment over the continued American opposition to ending “the war of extermination waged by the occupation against our people”.

“The American veto, which defies the will of the international community, will give another green light to the Israeli occupation state to continue its aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and to carry out the bloody attack against Rafah,” the statement said.

It added that “the American policy provides protection to the authorities of the occupation. This policy makes the US an accomplice in the crime of mass extermination, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, including Jerusalem.”

The US vetoed a draft resolution by Algeria at the UN Security Council that demanded an immediate ceasefire.

13 nations voted in favor of the disgraceful ceasefire resolution, while the UK abstained.

It was the third U.S. veto of a Security Council resolution demanding a cease-fire in Gaza and came a day after the United States circulated a rival resolution that would support a temporary cease-fire linked to the release of all hostages and oppose a major Israeli ground offensive in Rafah in southern Gaza.

The real truth is that the Arabs know if Israel gets rafah they won in Gaza and Hamas is gone. This is why they are fighting so hard. It’s their last chance. They couldn’t care less about human lives
