On Monday morning, a solemn gathering of mourners paid tribute to the life of a 15-year-old girl tragically lost in a boat collision off Key Biscayne. The poignant ceremony took place at Temple Beth Sholom in Miami Beach, the very place where Ella Riley Adler had spent her formative years, building friendships and nurturing her passions. The pews overflowed with individuals who had come to offer their condolences to the grieving family.
Ella, a freshman at Ransom Everglades School in Coconut Grove and a cherished member of its dance troupe, had graced the stage in numerous performances of Miami City Ballet’s “The Nutcracker,” showcasing her talent as a ballerina. Her promising life was cut short on a tragic Saturday when a boater struck her while she was water skiing near Nixon Beach in Key Biscayne, callously fleeing the scene.
As the community gathered to mourn her loss, memories of Ella’s vibrant spirit and kind heart filled the air, offering solace amidst the profound sorrow. The outpouring of support from those in attendance reflected the deep impact Ella had on the lives of those around her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
My sincere condolences to the family.
Some important points:
The amb@ssador grandpa worked hard to get Biden elected as per superficial internet search, apparently which is why he got rewarded with the amb@ssadorship, and it is obvious that anyone who supports Biden cannot be a supporter of Jewish causes and Israel, by definition. Obviously a granddaughter is not responsible for a grandfather’s treason, but if the article mentions that the grandpa is a choshuve amb@ssador, then mention how he received this “chashivus”, and the cost to Am Yisroel.
Now I don’t know if the deceased was halachicaly Jewish, but I do know that if she WAS shomer Shabos, she wouldn’t have been involved in a boat accident on a Saturday.
Obviously it’s a sad story, but the lessons should be learned, even if these lessons are not “politically correct”.
The story and the top photograph belong on a Jewish site. However, a frum site should not be posting a video that according to Halacha, is inappropriate.
