Dolev (35), from Kibbutz Nir Oz, was a paramedic with United Hatzalah. During the brutal October 7th terror attacks, Dolev left his wife and three children in the safe room and bravely went out under fire in an attempt to save lives.

Dolev was murdered by Hamas on the 7th of October, and his body was located in Kibbutz Nir Oz. He is survived by his wife Sigal and four children: Raz (8) Yotam (7) Yaron (4) and Dor, who was born 9 days after Oct. 7th and never saw her father.

Dolev’s sister Arbel and her husband Ariel were taken hostage by Hamas and are still in Gaza.

Dolev’s wife Sigal wrote after the birth of her fourth child that “At all the previous three births he was with me, held my hand, supported me, cut the placenta and was a partner in choosing the name. On the black Shabbat when terrorists infiltrated Nir Oz, Dolev went out to provide medical treatment and was abducted. Nine days later, on Oct. 16, our daughter Dor was born. Dolev wasn’t here. I was left alone, body cut off from soul. I wish he would return to heal me, I love him more than anything in the world.”

The IDF notified Dolev’s family of his death following an identification process that was carried out by medical officials from the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and Shura military base. Dolev’s body had been taken to another place in the kibbutz. After recently finding evidence and performing DNA tests, it was clarified that the body was that of Dolev.

The IDF wrote in a statement that it “expresses its deep condolences to the family at this difficult time.”

A few days before his murder, Dolev received a certificate of excellence from United Hatzalah.

UH CEO Eli Pollack eulogized him, stating that “Dolev always acted on behalf of others, provided assistance and helped those he didn’t know at all. Dolev treated hundreds of people during the course of his volunteering. The directors of our organization, branch heads, volunteers and all the UH family pray for his soul and hope and pray that Arbel, Ariel and the rest of the hostages will speedily return to us in good health.”

I suspect that most of the hostages are actually murdered HYD including the Bibas family, it doesnt make sense that they would be alive this long in those conditions, remember in the Holocaust 80% perished within a week.

To Triumphinthe whitrhouse : I agree with you , however if only Israel would realise the bare truth , then would they NEVER even consider any hostages peace deal , AL TIFTACH PEH LASUTEN does NOT mean : RISKING of millions of Yidden for dead bodies , Israel has got to be realistic plus shrewd .
