The four, Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization from the ‘Nova’ music festival on October 7th.

Noa Argamani is the woman whose iconic picture on a motorcycle as she is sandwiched between Hamas terrorists made world headlines after Oct. 7th. Argamani was featured in a Hamas video last week stating that she has been in captivity for 237 days and urging Netanyahu to reach a deal to release her.

The hostages were rescued by the IDF, Shin Bet and Yamam police counterterrorism forces from two separate locations in the heart of Nuseirat. A commanding officer of the Yamam, Arnon Zamora, was mortally injured in the operation and succumbed to his wounds later in hospital. Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the operation will be called “Operation Arnon” after the valiant commander.

The hostages are all in good medical condition and have been transferred to the Sheba Tel-Hashomer Medical Center for further medical examinations and met with family members.

“The security forces will continue to make every effort to bring the hostages home,” the IDF statement stressed.
