WHITE HOUSE (VINnews) — President Biden’s press secretary claimed to have “no idea” which weapons were withheld by the U.S. from Israel, yet in the same breath, she admitted that she indeed is aware of the holdup, essentially confirming the exact comments of the Israeli PM which she was trying to refute.
At a press briefing, KJP first claimed ignorance in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s comments slamming the Biden administration for withholding weapons shipments to Israel. However she contradicted herself a moment later. (You cannot make this stuff up.)
“We genuinely do not know what he is talking about. We just don’t,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing Tuesday.
Then she contradicted herself saying, “You’re right, there was one particular shipment of munitions that was paused.”
“We continue to have these constructive discussions with Israelis for the release of that particular shipment,” she added. “There are no other pauses, none, no other poses or hold in place.”
“Everything else is moving in due process,” Jean-Pierre said.

In an earlier video, Netanyahu implied the holdup was slowing Israel’s offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
He said, “When Secretary Blinken was recently here in Israel, we had a candid conversation, I said I deeply appreciated the support the US has given Israel from the beginning of the war.”
“But I also said something else, I said it’s inconceivable that in the past few months, the administration has been withholding weapons and ammunitions to Israel. Israel, America’s closest ally, [is] fighting for its life, fighting against Iran and our other common enemies,” he said.
“Secretary Blinken assured me that the administration is working day and night to remove these bottlenecks. I certainly hope that’s the case. It should be the case.
“During World War II, Churchill told the United States, Give us the tools, we’ll do the job. And I say, give us the tools and we’ll finish the job a lot faster,” Netanyahu said.
Without a doubt, this is certainly not the first time that KJP had “no idea” what someone was talking about.
Surprise surprise, Biden’s press secretary not only lies through her teeth but is also as incompetent at her job as everyone else in the administration.

Give this poor woman credit. Her entire job is to protect the President even if it means lying through her teeth. If Biden suddenly said his mother was Jewish, she would have to defend his mental acuity. She tries to tell us not to believe what we see from Biden, his fumfering, his wanderings…Trump’s various press secretaries did the same thing, they all do. Jen Psaki did it until she got fed up.

No contradiction here
Maybe she is what everyone is accusing her of but this comment is not a good example. She didn’t say “genuinely”, she said “generally”. You can disagree with her point but it makes sense. If, and I say if, Netanyahu accuses the WH of widespread withholding of weapons, such a generalization she does not know about. One specific withholding she acknowledges. It is very simple. VIN can scrap the article.
Some people at VIN appear to have basic comprehension issues. KJP made a fully rational and lucid point. Netanyahu made a reckless accusation that is unmoored from factual reality. Netanyahu needs to stop picking fights with the one country in the world that supports Israel. Netanyahu needs to accept responsibility for his massive failure on Oct 7th and resign. It is time for new Israeli leadership.
