Chief Rabbi Brought to Hospital on Shabbos, Later Discharged

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Sephardic Chief Rabbi Rav Yitzchak Yosef shlit’a was taken to the hospital on Shabbos morning. After feeling discomfort, Rav Yosef was taken from his home to the facility for medical tests.

After Shabbos, he was discharged from the hospital in good condition.

However Rav Yosef remains weak and reportedly did not deliver his Motzaei Shabbos shiur.

Arutz Sheva reported that the hospital issued the following statement: “Chief Rabbi Rav Yitzchak Yosef was brought to Hadassah Hospital this morning for tests, as advised by his doctor, after feeling unwell. After Shabbos concluded, he was sent home in good health.”
