Desantis Says We Must Send Biden Back To His Basement

MILWAUKEE (VINnews)-In a bold speech, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis emphasized the necessity of round-the-clock leadership, contrasting his vision with what he termed the “Weekend at Bernie’s presidency” of Joe Biden. DeSantis argued that America’s adversaries do not limit their actions to business hours, underscoring the need for a president who can lead 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“Our enemies do not confine their designs to between 10 AM and 4 PM,” DeSantis stated, pointing out the relentless nature of global threats. “We need a commander-in-chief who can lead 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”

In a call to action, DeSantis encouraged the electorate to send Biden “back to his basement,” a nod to the president’s period of working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. DeSantis juxtaposed this with a plea to return former President Donald Trump to office, emphasizing a need for assertive and constant leadership.

“Let’s send Joe Biden back to his basement, and let’s send Donald Trump back to the White House,” DeSantis concluded, framing Trump as the leader capable of providing the 24/7 commitment he believes the nation requires.
