TAMPA,FLORIDA (VINnews)-In a recent twist on the baseball field, MLB players have begun incorporating Trump-inspired celebrations into their games. This comes after former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated at a rally in Pennsylvania last week. The political climate seems to be spilling over into sports, with players using their platform to make bold statements.

One notable instance involved Tampa Bay Rays player Taylor Walls. After making a significant play, Walls was seen mimicking Trump’s “Fight, Fight” chant with his fist raised in the air. This gesture, reminiscent of Trump’s defiant rhetoric, has sparked discussions among fans and analysts alike about the intersection of sports and politics.
The trend didn’t stop there. The St. Louis Cardinals also joined in with their own unique tribute. Following a home run by Alec Burleson, the Cardinals’ dugout was seen holding their ears with their fists in the air. This action was interpreted by many as a nod to Trump’s combative stance and his frequent battles with the media and political opponents.
If players can kneel at anthem, not take the field in honor of BLM riots, then this is ok too. Bravo.
