JERUSALEM – In a televised address on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is prepared for “any scenario,” emphasizing that any act of aggression against Israel would result in consequences for the aggressor. He did not address the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, an incident for which Iran has blamed Israel.

“Citizens of Israel, challenging days lie ahead. We are hearing threats from all directions. We are prepared for any scenario and will respond to any threat. Any aggression against us will incur a cost for the aggressor, regardless of where it occurs,” Netanyahu declared.
