WATCH: Sky News Calls Haniyeh ‘Moderate’, Mimicking Other Fake News Outlets

(VINnews) — Many media outlets have disgracefully referred to Ismail haniyeh, a brutal and vicious monster, as a “moderate”.

While some outlets reported the assassination of the Hamas leader accurately, others have characterized the leader of the terrorist organization in shockingly sympathetic terms, describing him as “moderate” and similar whitewashing terms.

In a striking example, Alex Crawford, a Sky News reporter, described Haniyeh on Wednesday as a “very moderate” leader of the terrorist organization.

Not surprisingly, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) also depicted the leader as “moderate and pragmatic compared to hardline Gaza-based leaders Mohammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar.”

Reuters called him the “more moderate face of Hamas”.

The Guardian said he “was seen as a moderate figure within the movement, one whose role had become vital in sustained diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire.” They added that “Diplomats, officials, and observers viewed him as relatively pragmatic,” along with a quote by Tahani Mustafa of the International Crisis Group, depicting the terrorist group’s top leader as ” not just a diplomat but a moderate, someone willing to consider that reconciliation and diplomacy with Israel was the right route to take.”
