WASHINGTON – Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) advised former President Donald Trump to shift his focus from criticizing the crowd sizes at Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign rallies to challenging her record and policies as a candidate.

In a Monday interview with Fox News, McCarthy stated, “It’s important to focus on the issues rather than personal attacks. Instead of questioning the size of her crowds, Trump should address her track record as a candidate.” He suggested that Trump examine Harris’s tenure as California’s attorney general, especially concerning her approach to crime, as well as her performance in handling the border issue as the administration’s appointed leader.
McCarthy also mentioned that Trump should criticize Harris for her role in passing legislation tied to inflation, as she was the deciding vote on significant bills during the Biden-Harris administration. He urged Trump to highlight how Harris has shifted her stance on various policies in recent years.
“She presents a strong target for political debate,” McCarthy commented. “While people once labeled John Kerry as indecisive, Harris has changed positions on critical issues in a relatively short period.”
He further encouraged Trump to actively campaign against Harris, suggesting he utilize her own statements to counter her positions.
Trump has frequently commented on the attendance at Harris’s rallies, even alleging that images of large crowds were fabricated using artificial intelligence.
“There was no one at the plane, and she used ‘A.I.’ to create an image of a huge crowd of so-called supporters, but they weren’t real!” Trump posted on Truth Social, referring to a photo of a Harris event near a plane.
He added, “She’s being dishonest. There was no crowd, yet the image showed thousands! The same goes for her supposed audiences at her speeches.”
Harris’s campaign responded to these claims by affirming the authenticity of the crowds.
“This is an actual photo of a 15,000-person crowd for Harris-Walz in Michigan,” the KamalaHQ account tweeted, addressing Trump’s accusations. “Meanwhile, Trump hasn’t campaigned in a swing state in over a week. Is he losing momentum?”
If he wants to win, Trump needs to hammer the Biden/Harris invasion of illegals 24/7, and not give any oxygen to side distractions. He is not disciplined enough to keep focus like that.
Talk rather about how the entire machine overthrew Biden and coronated a DEI hire whom they called the worst veep in history and Voila ! transformed her into a smart , exciting candidate. How they’re scrubbing her record, how she’s plagiarizing Trump’s policies as her own. Talk about her tenure as welcome mat for illegal drug pushers who are murdering youth, even Jewish.
Hey Kevin, stop it. Agreed he should focus on the policies, but have you forgotten when the media undercounted his rallies in 2020 ? How they refused to show thousands camping out for days before a rally ?
If you have advice, tell him privately. DevilRats never talk against each other.
You ‘re a bit of a 2-face anyway. There’s a reason why you’re the EX Speaker.
