WASHINGTON – Nikki Haley, the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and the last contender against Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primary this year, suggested that Kamala Harris would become president if Trump secured the GOP nomination earlier in the year.

During a segment on Fox News Tuesday afternoon, hosts Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier mentioned Haley’s statements while previewing her interview with Baier scheduled to air later that evening.

In a February interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Haley expressed her thoughts: “The party that moves away from its 80-year-old candidate is the one that will win. The next U.S. president will be a woman. It will either be me or Kamala Harris. If Republicans choose Donald Trump, it will be Kamala Harris.”

She’s right. Trump should drop out immediately and hand the reigns of the Republican party to her.

Leave it to trump to say something stupid to unfortunately alienate voters. He picked a person fight now with the popular Gerorgia governor which is political suicide because he needs his help to win Georgia.

She’s a farbisinah with no policies to speak of. That’s why she had to bow out. Interesting too, to see how she ‘joined’ Trump’s camp. Her loyalty seems to have unsurprisingly dissipated now that she hasn’t been tapped for Trump’s VP.

it was always a matter of “bait-and-switch”, but most people thought biden would bow out at the convention, due to some political illness. the trouble with her analysis isn’t that it’s wrong or self-serving, but that there’s no way out. with vance as the veep candidate, even if trump leaves the race for whatever reason, there is no way to get haley on the ballot. so it comes down to harris or trump, or the “uncommitted” versus the “committed”.

It’s possible due to saving democracy elections might need to be canceled this year temporarily. We cannot allow for democracy to be destroyed
