“They are the most dishonest network. The meanest. The nastiest,” Trump declared, referring to ABC News. “But that was what I was presented with.”
Trump turned his attention to Stephanopoulos, whom he referred to as “George Slopodopolous.” The former president, known for his brash style and penchant for nicknames, joked about Stephanopoulos’ stature, saying, “He’s a nasty guy. I’ve had him up to here,” while pointing to his chest—a gesture clearly referencing the anchor’s height.
Stephanopoulos, who stands at 5’5”, has frequently found himself in Trump’s crosshairs, with the former president often accusing him of biased coverage.
Trump’s comments come ahead of a highly anticipated debate with Harris, which is set to be hosted by ABC News next week. The debate, expected to cover a wide range of topics including the economy, foreign policy, and healthcare, will be one of the few times the two political heavyweights face off on the national stage.
Trump is as usual 1000% correct, they can’t stand him because the truth hurts
I wish DeSantis would have been our candidate, but even the silliest of Trump on his worst day is way better than Cackling Harris at her best.
