NEW YORK – Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz raised concerns about the handling of an incident at a pro-Israel rally in Newton, Massachusetts, where a man was shot during a confrontation. Scott Hayes, a 47-year-old Iraq War veteran, allegedly shot a man who tackled him during the rally, and was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Dershowitz argued that the person who initiated the assault should have been arrested first, as video footage clearly shows the attack. He questioned the fairness of the process, noting that the investigation into whether the shooting was in self-defense should be thorough and based on all available evidence.
“The fact that the attacker hasn’t been arrested raises serious questions,” Dershowitz said, emphasizing that determining self-defense requires a full investigation.
Same biased story in Chicago
My son was attacked by Palestinians at a rally a half year ago. The DA arrested him and charged him . He used self defense spray to get free of the Palestinian mob . Of course the DA didn’t arrest any palistinian despite witnesses that he was attacked, He was held a few days at a he Skokie police lock up. Not given kosher food The same town who years ago tried to stop the American Nazis from marching. It is frightening how America has changed. The woke DA s are a disaster .He is still fighting the charges costing a fortune in legal fees.
Any Jew voting for the Democrats has bloody hands.
In Massachusetts a full investigation into a low life that attacked someone that’s pro-israel??? Yeah right. That only goes the other way as we see here. Leftists, and Democrats in general , are scum!!
vin. Post the video of the attack and shooting.
In regards to my previous post I need to point out the following .The FRUM well known organization In Chicago who supposedly is for Klal yisroel their Posek refused to help with funds from his (non) …………. Chesed fund I called him that it is pidyon shevuyim I guess my son was wearing an Israeli flag on his back so it wasn’t frum .
Massachusetts is not a “stand your ground” state, but a “required to retreat” state – unlike Florida with its George Zimmerman case. This case is not so simple. Look up the difference. And yes I am 100% on the shooter’s side

Lately, Dershowitz does sometimes sound like a reasonable man. But, after the lifetime of damage this liberal Jewish goy caused our country, I say: too little too late.
Should be arrested for not killing the guy
Hold up a minute. Packing a gun at a hostage rally and looking for trouble destroys the reason for having a hostage rally, endangers others people at this and other rallies, and frightens people away from participating in hostage rallies. This should be about the hostages, not having an OK Corral. I hope those participating in other rallies stay safe and get police protection.
