(VINnews) — A new poll shows that, not surprisingly, the overwhelming majority of the Charedi community supports President Trump. Interestingly, those who identify as Modern Orthodox are sharply divided between Trump and Kamala Harris.

The Nishma Research poll asked nearly 1,300 respondents whom they are supporting, as well as which issues they consider most critical.

Just over half of respondents identified as Charedi, while 595 identified as Modern Orthodox.

The poll found that 68% of Charedi will definitely vote for Trump, and 15% probably will. 27% of Modern Orthodox will definitely vote for Trump and 11% probably will.

On the flipside, 5% of Charedi say they will definitely vote for Harris and 2% probably will. 37% of Modern Orthodox will definitely vote for Harris and 9% who probably will.

4% or Charedi and 7% of Modern Orthodox are undecided.

The poll also showed a slight increase in support for Trump overall among Orthodox Jews, a four point increase from a similar Nishma poll taken a year ago.

Results show that, not surprisingly, Orthodox Jews rank Israel and antisemitism as critically important issues.

Any frum jew that votes for Harris needs their head (and yichus) examined.

I think it’s less of a referendum on level of religiosity and more so on who spends the most time in front of their phone being influenced by liberal propaganda!

Any Jew that would even considered voting Harris in my opinion is an absolute uneducated fool .

Am surprised the charedim surpass the modern orthodox when it comes to support and voting for TRUMP.
After all he did for Israel, moving the embassy, the peace accords, officially saying the golan heights are part of Israel etc, is that not enough reason to vote for him
besides what he did domestically for the economy etc and keeping the USA a super power on the world stage
(most of the modern ortho are upper middle class who benefited from his economic policies)
Why would that not be enough to garner full 100 % support?
Even if you dont like him personally, is the alternative any better ?

Yes, voting for Trump. Yes, being grateful for his assistance and favorable position regarding the Jew-haters. But realize that he’s far, far, far from being anyone to admire; especially with his anti-Torah stance on abortion and toeva marriage. Too many frum Jews hero-worship him.

I’m from MO community and know some who will vote for Harris. They imbibed the Democrat filthy agenda, they hate Trump , give the usual trite, bandwagon answers as to why and are just like the irreligious lefty Jews. Disgusting bunch.

I repeat what I posted here before. There are three reasons to vote for Trump: Iran, Iran and Iran. Obama and Biden gave billions to Iran, which was used to fund groups that kill and try to kill many Jews. Harris will continue that policy.

B

Trump sanctioned Iran, gave it nothing and views it as an enemy.

Sadly, many Jews that identify themselves as Modern Orthodox are only partially observant of Halacha. Their few children are at high risk of leaving observance all together. The Chareidi community is the place to be for complete & lasting Torah observance.

Political isssues aside, there is a very serious Halachik problem with voting Harris. Imagine the religous DISASTER of an intermarried couple living in White House as president and first gentelman: The coverage the media will give them as ‘normal’ positive role models could cause intermarriage rates to rise all over the world. HEAVEN FORBID Chas vShalom.

I expected exactly such results. Authentic Jews these days are Republicans. “Modern” safek frum safek frei (perhaps even safek goy) vote exactly like goyim. In this particular race, goyim are split pretty evenly, and so are “moderns.”
