ISRAEL (VINnews)-In a recent statement, IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari exposed Hezbollah’s strategy to invade the Galilee region, located in northern Israel. According to Hagari, Hezbollah’s long-term goal has been to launch a large-scale ground assault on Israeli territory, with the aim of “conquering the Galilee.” The plan reportedly involves the use of heavily armed forces to infiltrate civilian areas and conduct a mass attack, similar to the unprecedented assault carried out by Hamas on October 7. Hezbollah has been building up its capabilities along the Israeli-Lebanese border, and Israeli defense forces remain on high alert in response.

Hagari emphasized that this plot mirrors the terror tactics seen on October 7, when Hamas militants targeted southern Israel, leading to massive casualties and unrest. While the IDF has successfully defended against previous cross-border incursions, the military is taking additional precautions to prevent a similar catastrophe from unfolding in the north.
