LAS VEGAS – A Frontier Airlines plane appeared to catch fire as it landed on Saturday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cell phone footage captured flames and smoke coming from the plane’s undercarriage upon touching down. Fire trucks and emergency vehicles quickly arrived at the scene, surrounding the aircraft amid ongoing smoke.

The airport spokesperson confirmed that “Frontier Flight 1326 experienced a hard landing.” The Clark County Fire Department responded right away, and all passengers and crew members were safely moved to the gate area without any reported injuries.
Flight records show that Frontier Flight 1326 departed San Diego at 1:51 p.m. Pacific Time and arrived in Las Vegas at 3:37 p.m. A Frontier Airlines spokesperson noted that the pilots detected smoke and declared an emergency before the landing. The plane landed safely, and passengers and crew were evacuated using airstairs, with no injuries reported. An investigation into the incident’s cause is underway.
