QUEENS – Former President Donald Trump visited the Ohel, the resting place of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, in Queens, New York.

The visit Monday afternoon, held special significance, as Trump sought to honor the legacy of the Rebbe and to offer prayers for the victims of the recent October 7th massacre.

Trump wearing a black Yarmulke, was accompanied by a few close figures, including, Howard Lutnick, Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, Rabbi Levi Shemtov, ounder and spiritual leader of TheSHUL of the Nation’s Capital, and Motti Seligson, Director of Media at Chabad.

Before leaving, Trump left a note, and placed a rock on top of the Kever of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.

The area was secured by Secret Service and NYPD ahead of Trump’s arrival.

Is there not a serious halachic problem with a non-Jew attending a Jewish grave? Like, a non-Jew can’t attend a seder on pessach. And poskim strongly discourage a non-Jew from attending inside a sukkah. What about a Jewish grave – is that a serious halachic issue?
