NEW YORK CITY (VINnews)-Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Dannon, issued a stark warning to Iran and a strong call for action from the international community. In his address to the UN Security Council, Dannon warned Iran that Israel’s patience has run out and future aggression will be met with decisive force.

“To Iran’s leaders, take this as a warning. Israel has shown restraint. But from now on, you will only see strength. Any further aggression will be met with consequences that are swift and decisive,” Dannon declared, underscoring Israel’s readiness to respond to provocations.
Dannon’s address went beyond a direct warning to Tehran. He also called out the broader international community for what he characterized as inaction. “Enough empty words, enough statements of concern,” he said. “The Iranian regime must face real consequences for its actions.”
The ambassador urged the immediate imposition of comprehensive sanctions targeting Iran’s military and economic infrastructure, specifically urging the international community to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. The IRGC, a powerful wing of Iran’s military, has long been a focal point of concern for Israel, which views it as a direct threat to its national security.
“Designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization it is,” Dannon insisted. “Isolate Iran diplomatically, but most importantly, take the necessary measures to prevent a lunatic regime from attaining nuclear capabilities.”
Dannon painted a stark picture of the future if Iran is allowed to develop nuclear weapons, warning that such an outcome would have dire global consequences. “Imagine who will sit here in a few years if, G-d forbid, they will have nuclear capabilities.”
His speech comes amid escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, driven by concerns over Iran’s advancing nuclear program, its regional influence, and support for militant groups like Hezbollah. Dannon’s remarks at the UN reflect Israel’s heightened sense of urgency and its push for stronger international measures to curb an existential threat.
In closing, Dannon emphasized that the threat posed by Iran was no longer a matter of debate but one requiring immediate action: “The world cannot afford to ignore the threat Iran poses. This is no longer a matter of words. It is a matter of action.”
You’re talking common sense. But the UN doesn’t. It’s controlled by a bunch cowards and haters
great speech. now follow it up with action. like maybe the united snakes actually enforcing the sanctions it has already imposed, instead of giving the mullahs exemptions. or a disruption of kharg island.
