At least one person will just barely afford full tuition this year.
Mazel Tov!
Just another 3 wins like this and he will be able to afford a house in Boro Park!
Just for the record, that may qualify as Lashon Horah, not because of doing something wrong, but because it is damaging. For example, of you were done a favor, and advertise it in a way that others will ask it of the giver unfairly, you are not allowed to advertise that.
This person will now be besieged with requests, although this didn’t make him rich.
Thx
Hi Tatti, it’s me your long lost son! So when are we getting back together, I miss you soooo much!
So much in taxes? Insanity!! Ganovim!!
Please refrain from spreading Loshon Hora about me and please respect my privacy. Thank you.
Hershel Stern can now afford to move out of NYC.
Can you please post the winners name, home address, cellphone number?
I just found a long lost cousin
In Canada there is no taxes on Lottery wins.
Just saying.
I happen to know the guy. A tzadik with a golden heart.
It’s not that much money after taxes. There are plenty guys making millions in the frum community but keep a low profile. No need to chase this guy around and harass him because he won a million bucks. I myself keep a low profile and have an income in the millions. It’s better that way. I keep to myself and usually no one hounds me for money.
I once wanted to discover who my relatives are but didn’t want to spend considerable fees for 23andMe or AncestryDNA. So I casually dropped the word at the kiddush that I won a lottery…
He will need all of that money as his camp and tuition bill just shot up while his government aid was just taken away.besides vthe fact that his mechutanim will soak him for the majority or full support of the new couple.better not to have bought the ticket.at least he would still have a dollar in his pocket
He can take on some tutoring on the side insetad of gofundme
Mazal Tov to him. But Please. Please do not feel tempted to follow his example . It is a mistake to buy lottery tickets. You can have better chances looking under garbage pails for hundred dollar bills you might find hidden underneath them.
You sure this story isn’t fake news? What is source of this report?
Too bad article didn’t give his address too so people would be able to not let him have a minutes menucha
Wow more than half for taxes. Please make sure he is paying his fair share of taxes.
