Kamala Harris Campaign Manipulating X’s Community Notes via Discord Server

14

GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN (VINnews)-Earlier today, The Federalist (@FDRLST) reported that Kamala Harris’ campaign had allegedly been using a Discord server to influence Community Notes on X (formerly Twitter). The revelation has sparked controversy, as Community Notes are designed to provide users with unbiased context on misleading posts. The claims suggest a coordinated effort to alter or control the narrative on the platform, raising questions about the transparency and fairness of these fact-checking tools.

A recent example of this manipulation involves a video shared by the KamalaHQ account on X. In the video, the campaign insinuated that former President Donald Trump made a statement about taking away women’s rights “whether they like it or not.” This narrative has ignited backlash, as many users have pointed out discrepancies between the edited clip and the full context of Trump’s comments.

In the original comment, Trump was referring to his promise to protect Americans, including women, from illegal immigrants who are responsible for violent crimes. His remark about taking action “whether they like it or not” was directed at ensuring the safety of citizens, not at infringing on women’s rights as the KamalaHQ account implied.

The owner of x has publicly campaigned with Trump and offered a million dollar incentive to vote for him and regularly promotes Trump talking points and ads to his millions of followers. That is all fine and good . No problem with that .

Hypocrisy at its best.
