According to Kan Reshet Bet, during his interrogation, Weiss described his emotions when he learned who he was working for, as well as the recruiting methods he used to attempt to get others to spy for Iran.

When asked how he felt when he discovered that he was working for Iran, he replied, “Fear. I started to become afraid and I looked for all sorts of reasons why I should get away from them, that they shouldn’t have suspected me, but I was afraid to say no. I didn’t want them to hurt me, to think that I’m stupid and that it’s a waste of time and then they would leave me.”

Referring to his Iranian contact, he said, “He told me, ‘Find me more people – for each person you bring you’ll receive 20% of the profits he receives.’ They always asked us to find more and more people for their tasks.”

Asked about his surveillance of the Glilot compound which was later attacked by terrorists, he said, “I was there at least twice. I didn’t always take photographs. Once I went and the second time I was arrested.”

According to Channel 12 News, Weiss claimed that he was not aware of the true identity of his operators until his arrest. He stressed his love for the State.

Weiss is accused of tracking an Israeli nuclear scientist so that Iran could assassinate him.

He reportedly used a GoPro camera to record the scientist’s home and vehicle, which was sent to a man from the Arab neighborhood of Beit Safafa in southern Jerusalem, who was tasked with carrying out the assassination.

According to the indictment, Weiss also under Iranian direction allegedly set vehicles on fire, threw pipes onto Israeli roads, sprayed graffiti, and posted hundreds of posters in Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan with messages of incitement calling for civil rebellion.

Weiss received thousands of dollars in digital cryptocurrency as payment.

Something doesn’t smell right.
Iran may want surveillance on nuclear scientists, but do they create major espionage operations to get people to post posters?! Something doesn’t make sense here.
