Lebanese Woman Posts Israeli Soldiers Playing Piano In Ruins Of Her Home

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In an Instagram post which went viral in Lebanon, Dr. Julia Ali, from the town of Al-Khiam in the south of the country, presented herself playing the piano in her decorative house before she had to flee the region, and the same piano being played by Israeli soldiers in the ruins of her home, as shown in an IDF clip. She wrote a subtitle “My House in Khiam, years of memories, years of me playing my piano, my heart is in pieces.”

Dr. Ali wrote that “watching the place I called home turn to rubble is a pain too deep for words. This wasn’t just walls and a roof; this was years of my family’s dreams, sacrifices, and love built into a sanctuary. Now, to see invaders wandering through it, mocking it, touching the piano where I once poured my heart into every note… it feels like they’re trampling on pieces of my soul.

“In the first video, a year ago, I’m playing a piece from a movie called ‘The Pianist‘. Back then, I could never have imagined that my country would be living a tragedy so similar now.

“I end this reel with a video of me playing that piano, in my homeland, in the home that once held my heart. I have hope that we will rise from this, rebuilding not just a house, but a new chapter filled with resilience, strength, and the memories of all that was lost.

“Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has reached out with kindness and support. Your messages, thoughts, and love have been a light in this dark time, giving me strength and reminding me I’m not alone in this. I’m overwhelmed and so deeply grateful for each of you.”

Viewers of the clip noted the irony that Dr. Ali was playing a piece from the movie The Pianist which is the emotionally devastating story of Jewish pianist Vladimir Spylman caught up in the horrors of World War II in Warsaw. Others reassured her that she would once again return to her home and play, but none even mentioned the possibility that Ali lived on top of a Hezbollah weapon stockpile hidden among civilian homes in the region.

Yet Israeli MK Itzik Kroizer, who was fighting at the same location in Lebanon, showed that in the garden of the seemingly innocent home there was a Hezbollah Kornet position camouflaged under a tent, which was used to fire at Israel (Metula can be seen a few km away)

Um. That’s a pretty nice house for a “concentration camp”. Never heard of an open air prison that has a grand piano.

If you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas.

If you have a Hezbollah weapons cache under your house or in your back yard it’s almost a certain bet your house will get destroyed during a war you started.

Hope the soldiers enjoyed the piano.

Lady – if you prefer we could destroy the piano too OR let Hezbollah murder you so that you won’t even be afforded the life Israel just gave you.

Hezbollah complained similarly, “we spent years building up our weapons stockpiles and now Israel invades and takes everything. It is so heartbreaking”.

cHasdei haShem the piano was not rigged with explosives or some other trap. The soldiers playing the piano seemed to have behaved recklessly. Viet Cong, during Viet Nam war, would leave traps like these when abandoning their homes to the Americans. -Not pianos obviously, but similarly innocent looking food or furniture.

Cry me a river. They respected it by playing it. They could have chopped it up for firewood but they played it. Waaaaaaaa

So the only ‘crime’ that a Jewish soldier commits is playing a piano in someone’s house. I would think that should be a good thing.

There is no credible evidence that Dr Ali was aware of the alleged stockpile.

Her house was a weapons base for Hezbollah. She’s lucky she’s alive. Stupid woman! She knew there would be pictures of weapons and bombs found.
