Disk Found In Tunnel Where Hostages Were Murdered Shows Hostage’s Picture At TA Protest

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In a chilling reminder of the situation of Israel’s hostages in Hamas captivity, a disk on key (flash drive) was found in the tunnel in which six hostages, including Almog Saroussi, were murdered two months ago, according to a Kan news report Wednesday. The disk contained a video in which two terrorists can be heard watching Al Jazeera and talking matter-of-factly about Seroussi and the protest in Israel, as they watch pictures from a Tel Aviv demonstration.

Seroussi was kidnapped on October 7, 2023, from the Nova Music Festival in Re’im, which he attended together with his girlfriend Shahar Gindi, who was murdered there.

Almog’s body was found in a tunnel in Rafah in August, along with five other hostages with whom he stayed for a period of time: Alex Lobanov, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi and Ori Danino. A short time later the IDF claimed that it had eliminated the terrorists who murdered the six captives.

The clip shows the terrorists watching the Tel Aviv protest to free the hostages and recognizing Almog Sarousi. They point out that in the pictures he had long hair, meaning that they are currently acquainted with him, and also note that his family are with him.

I think historical analysis in the years ahead will show that leftist demonstrations and protests directly led to the deaths of many hostages.

The story makes no sense. Seems like it was poorly translated from a Hebrew article. They recognize almog at the protest but almog was with them in the tunnel at the time? Did they recognize a picture of him at the protest? Seems like an interesting story if someone can please publish it in English.

“a disk on key (flash drive)”.
In English it isn’t called a disk on key.
It is called a flash drive.
