(VINnews) — Jewish billionaire Bill Ackman posted a letter that stated “Yale is no different than Hamas and potentially even more dangerous”. The post referred to Yale as “a cult that abides no disagreement, and a cult certain of its purpose and mission beyond reflection.”

Ackman, one of the strongest voices against campus antisemitism following the October 7 attack, posted a letter on X from his friend, who refused to write a letter of recommendation for a student to attend Yale.

Ackman posted the following:

A friend was asked to write a recommendation for his daughter who is applying to Yale. Worth a read.

Dear ,

I am unwilling to write a letter of recommendation in support of your daughter’s application to Yale. I no longer do that. It is not that I don’t believe that she is qualified, on the contrary it is because I do.

You wouldn’t ask me to write a letter of recommendation for her admission to Hamas. But Yale is no different than Hamas, a cult that abides no disagreement, and a cult certain of its purpose and mission beyond reflection. Yale is potentially even more dangerous. Hamas will be defeated shortly. Yale will continue to send its graduates into positions of power for years.

A recent study at Harvard found that roughly 50% of the students and professors wouldn’t discuss “uncomfortable” topics. An essential life skill is the ability to change your mind. She won’t learn that at any Ivy league school. Their reputations are still so strong that their faculty, staff and graduates all possess the arrogant certainty of religious fanatics.

I am sorry to disappoint you. I wish her the best in her search for a school,

Recently, Ackman, a lifelong Democrat who endorsed Trump, posted: “The country is grateful @elonmusk for your involvement in making America great again.”

After the October 7 Hamas massacre, the American billionaire who founded Pershing Square Capital Management went to battle against his alma mater, Harvard University, where he had donated tens of millions of dollars.

When 30 student organizations at Harvard issued a statement labeling Israel as “fully responsible” for the attack and the university’s administration remained silent, Ackman went to battle.

He posted on X that the names of the signatories should be published so that his company and other potential employers would know their stance before hiring them.

“I don’t want any supporters of terrorism in our company,” said Ackman.

Ackman then began targeting Harvard’s faculty and Harvard’s then-president Claudine Gay. He furthered his campaign against Gay after she, along with Liz Magill, from University of Pennsylvania, and MIT president Sally Kornbluth refused to denounce calls for genocide on campus.

“Why has antisemitism exploded on campus and around the world?” he asked. “Because of leaders like presidents Gay, Magill, and Kornbluth who believe genocide depends on context.”

Gay and Magill were forced to resign due to the backlash; Kornbluth was pressured but managed to hold on to her position.

Thinking about doing an aveira can be worse than doing the aveira itself in some sense spiritually, but I’d still choose the company of a Yale student over that of a Hamas member, and so would Ackman.
