Israeli advocates Yoseph Haddad (a former IDF soldier who debates anti-Israel elements around the world) and Mosab Hassan Yousef (the son of the founder of Hamas who disavowed his father’s ideology) gave passionate speeches on the motion, even as they realized that the august institution of the Oxford Society had effectively been hijacked by Hamas sympathizers.
Haddad chose to target the first contention- that Israel is an apartheid state. He demonstrated that after an Arab judge sent both a Jewish prime minister and president to jail, after and Arab headed Israel’s largest bank, and after Arabs took their place in all echelons of Israeli society, they cannot be part of an apartheid state.

Yoseph Haddad at Oxford Society.
Mosab Hassan Yousef was heckled continually during his speech, and nearly evicted when he claimed that the Palestinians are the “most pathetic people in the world.” Yousef challenged the audience, asking them if they would have reported Hamas plans to authorities to prevent October 7 massacre;
Over 75% of the participants voted they would have chosen not to report Hamas plans to the authorities. Yousef said this proves their moral bankruptcy, as he himself is under a death sentence from his father for reporting to Israel the plans of suicide bombers to blow themselves up in Israeli cities.

Watch: Hamas supporters got traumatized by this speech of Mosab Hassan Yousef (son of Hamas founder) at Oxford Union.Despite promising to publish all the speeches, the Oxford Union has so far suppressed this speech, hiding it from the public because it…

The Israeli team also included journalist Johnathan Sacerdoti and British barrister Natasha Hausdorff, who both gave impassioned speeches at Oxford.
The Israeli team required extensive security provisions to enable them arriving and leaving Oxford due to threats against them from pro-Palestinian elements
They are very brave. Really incredible speeches. Just one incorrect statement that I noticed. One of them said that Hamas is crying. Hamas is not crying. If Hamas were crying, they would’ve given back the hostages.
The Oxford student union is mostly Jew hating Hamas supporting leftist scum, the motion passed 248 to 59, teh 248 of course fully support Hamas massactmrung Jews because they are evil scum like the Hamas supporting Democrats in campuses here and in congress.
Islam is evil based on Muhammad & the actual Quran & Hadith.
Or, listen to Al Qaeda, ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, or Hamas themselves.
sometimes truth does not just hurt, it stings.
even supposedly intelligent people at Oxford buy into lies.
SAD……
Hearing the rude and ignorant shouts of some of the students trying to drown out the speaker, it reinforced the grim truth of the proverb, “There are none so deaf as those that will not hear.”
5 years ago, Mudar Zahran – Jordanian Palestinian also spoke at the Oxford Society, titled “The Arab World Has Failed The Palestinian People”. Look it up if you have the time. Excellent speech and well received. But the masses are not interested in hearing it.
