Lev Tahor Women on Hunger Strike While in Detention

GUATEMALA (VINnews) — According to a disturbing new report, female members of Lev Tahor are essentially on a hunger strike. Ynet reported that the cult’s women, who are being held in detention, are now refusing all food and water while in protective custody, which cult experts say follows a predictable pattern of resistance.

The development comes as the country’s Supreme Court prepares to hear a case involving the extremist cult, following a massive raid that rescued over 160 children.

Guatemalan prison officials report that Lev Tahor children, who have no doubt been programmed and brainwashed since birth, are very resistant and sometimes violent. Many are covering their faces continuously, and over the weekend, episodes of violent outbursts required medical attention for law enforcement officials and social workers.

Experts say that such behavior is typical of cult-raised children when confronted with outside authority, often reflecting years of programming and fears of the outside world.

Lev Tahor members have refused to cooperate with authorities since they were taken into custody. Guatemala’s Secretariat of Social Welfare said that on Wednesday night, the women, children and teenagers in custody attacked police and other officials. Members of the group destroyed furniture and supplies, and broke windows, injuring several people with the glass. The group had “disturbed order” in the shelter for the past three nights, the statement said.

Due to attacks this past week, some officers required stitches, while six social workers were doused with acid and other chemicals.

“The teams followed protocol and sought dialogue, but the group’s aggressive behavior prevented any resolution,” the Ministry of Social Affairs said, reporting the violence had persisted for three days. The ministry affirmed its commitment to ensuring the children’s well-being, working under judicial directives to provide adequate living conditions.

such a sad situation. I feel bad for these kids. They have little chance of being anywhere near normal.

If they’re not hungry, they’re not hungry. No problem. Let them starve.

It’s ironic when it’s the Umos Haolam who are trying to civilize Jews.

I recall when Satmar and then assemblyman Dov Hikind supported Lev Tahor. Satmar came out with a rally for them and Hikind went to the prison their leader Helbran was in for trying to save a bar mitzvah boy from secular parents. Let them live. You don’t like that they pray long but you talk during davening. What’s worse. And marrying young how many of your chassidisha rebbes married at 13 as well as litvish like chofetz chayim at 15

Let them go. Let them live as Jews. You fancy so called chassidim who hate them don’t say nothing about the immorality that the Israeli government does against religious Jews. She shut up
