HORRIFIC: Lev Tahor Children Allegedly Being Starved by Cult Members

GUATEMALA (VINnews) — A disturbing report says that members of the Lev Tahor cult are starving children as a means of protest. According to Ynet, cult members staged a protest Thursday outside of welfare facilities in Guatemala, where more than 200 children and women have been living since they were rescued last month.

The protesters are trying to pressure authorities who have been forced to separate mothers from their children, allegedly due to severe neglect and abuse.

Cult leaders allegedly have been instructing mothers to starve their children. The report also says there were alleged instructions from cult leaders, instructing mothers to harm their children if the government intervened or if “the Zionists” attempted to rescue them.

“Welfare officials decided to separate all children from their mothers after discovering the leaders had smuggled phones into the facility to dictate how the mothers should treat their children,” a source said.

Children were reportedly told to refuse food like fruits and vegetables, leaving them malnourished, as a very horrific form of a hunger strike. “The children were instructed to harm themselves and starve to create leverage over the government,” the source said.

“Some mothers have been brainwashed by the leadership and coerced into abusive behavior,” a source said.

“The children’s health is dire,” said an official.

In addition, the cult allegedly tried to manipulate the food supply to comply with their strict dietary rules, creating fears that they might tamper and taint the food with chemicals to weaken or harm the children.
