VINnews (WASHINGTON) – We’re used to politicians making big speeches, telling us what we want to hear, and then doing nothing. It’s just the way things have always been. But President Trump has shown himself to be a rare exception.

During his campaign, Trump promised to protect the Jewish community and take a stand against antisemitism. And unlike so many before him, he actually delivered.
On Wednesday night, With the stroke of a pen, Trump signed an executive order to fight antisemitic discrimination on college campuses. This wasn’t just a political gesture—it was real action, ensuring that schools that turn a blind eye to antisemitism will face serious consequences. It was a promise made and a promise kept.
Trump’s new executive order states that the U.S. will combat antisemitism “vigorously, using all available and appropriate legal tools” to prosecute, remove, or hold accountable those responsible for “unlawful antisemitic harassment and violence.”
He called out the terrifying rise in antisemitism after the October 7 attacks, saying it had sparked “an unprecedented wave of vile antisemitic discrimination, vandalism, and violence against our citizens, especially in our schools and on our campuses.”
He’s right. Jewish students have been harassed, denied access to common areas and classrooms, threatened, and even physically attacked. And for too long, universities and institutions have accepted it.
This executive order forces federal agencies to hold schools accountable. It requires every executive agency to report within 60 days on the legal tools they have to combat antisemitism—including a full review of every complaint filed against colleges and universities since October 7.
It also directs the Secretaries of State, Education, and Homeland Security to help universities monitor and report students or staff on visas who incite antisemitic violence or harassment.
VINnews spoke with Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, a close confidant of President Trump, who helped organize three campaign events with Dr. Miriam Adelson, where Trump pledged to protect the Jewish community. Rabbi Kaploun called the executive order “a great day for the Jewish people.”

“The fact that Trump acted so quickly, through an executive order, shows how important this is to him.”
Under this order, colleges and universities that fail to protect Jewish students risk losing federal funding.
Rabbi Kaploun praised Trump’s leadership, saying:

“This order lays out real, concrete steps to protect the Jewish people at large in a way we’ve never seen before.”
On behalf of the global Jewish community—thank you, President Trump.
How come Schumer “shomer israel” is nowhere ? Many community leaders vouch for him
Self-respecting Jews who don’t believe we should fall to our knees & kiss the feet of anyone that tosses us a bone will also keep in mind that Trump repeatedly “promised“ there would be “hell to pay” if all the hostages weren’t released by the day he took office. (we assumed he meant Hamas would be the ones paying the price.)
It’s one thing if he took aggressive action against Hamas on that day but only got 40% of the hostages released.
But his only aggressive move was to bully Israel into accepting a cease-fire that has brought home so far about 10 hostages—at an enormous cost to Israel’s security & resolve.
For anyone who’s NOT a completely mindless Trump zombie, that falls far short of “unleashing hell” on the terrorists! It’s also not quite “a promise kept.”
Even if the ceasefire holds and all the hostages are brought home, that will not have been ‘Trump taking Israel’s side’— it will be Israel capitulating to Trump‘s pressure, bringing about the wonderful result of the hostages’ return… along with the horrific result of forgetting about the war’s all-important objective, and the many young Israeli men & women who specifically sacrificed their lives for that goal: obliterating Hamas & totally removing them from power—preferably by removing them from this world.
This over-the-top, gushing gratitude is wildly premature. These are great developments, very encouraging, and we all hope to see good things from Trump.
But this is NOT yet a “a promise kept“: many politicians & university officials sign legislation—but it’s worthless if they don’t actually follow through on it, enforcing it vigorously & strictly.
It’s only right, and it’s pragmatically important, to express hakaras hatov.
That does NOT mean foolishly exaggerating whatever good has been done for us in a given situation beyond all proportion.
And it’s not like this is some astounding act of compassion—this is a president doing what a president of the US is SUPPOSED to do: protecting its citizens, and enforcing the most basic American laws & principles against discrimination.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I voted for the guy. Like thinking people, I’m pleased with some of the things he’s done, and some of the things he shows sign of doing. I’m also concerned with some other things. That is a reasonable position. Those who get all angry, and accuse me of being some kind of liberal, are morons, who have surrendered their Bitachon & their brains to a wildly impulsive, self-aggrandizing politician, just because, yes, he’s anti-woke, and we like that.
It’s great that Trump hit the ground running, signing this important legislation. Now we hope his administration will follow through on it, enforcing the law vigorously & strictly.
Until that happens, this is a hopeful development—not “a promise kept“

Yes, President Trump is a mench, his predecessors are smucks.
It’s about time. Every Jewish student who was attacked, violated, prevented from going to classes their tuition paid for has a right to sue the college and the staff for not protecting them from blatant antisemitism. The perpetrators were not held accountable, neither were the openly antisemitic professors which Jewish students had to endure. Their college experience were he’ll. For this the Jewish students have to be made whole.
Maga Maga, Nu is this TAKA TAKA dangerous?
To shmendrick: Trump is not only better than than the Dems.
Trump is the best President of USA EVER.
Bear in mind : regarding this last hostages deal : is absolutely not Trump s fault.( as I kept claiming for ages ),
It’s: Israel s deal per se .
The best thing trump, was to bring about the ceasefire deal that brought the hostages home, a slap in the face of the fat right in Israel
lol
Where is Schumer on this …. No where as usual but the Aguda and their self appointed and annoyed bid shots will still tell us why we need this useless price of garbage.
…or call Judenrat Kapo Chuck Schumer who did squat.
This is like a battered person who has a restraining order against someone and when the person attacks them they say “how can you do this ? look I have a piece of paper !” This is a worthless piece of paper.
