Australian Health Workers Under Investigation After Anti-Semitic Remarks Threaten Israeli Patients

AUSTRALIA – New South Wales, Australia – An urgent investigation has been initiated following the release of a disturbing video that shows a man and woman, both wearing NSW Health scrubs, making violent and antisemitic remarks. The footage, shared by Israeli content creator Max Veifer, features the two individuals in what appears to be a hospital setting, engaging in a conversation that includes threats towards Israelis.

In the video, Veifer, who identifies himself as Israeli, is told by the man that he will eventually be killed and sent to “Jahannam,” a term used in Islam to describe the underworld. The woman then enters the frame and makes additional threats, saying that she would refuse to treat Israeli patients and, in her words, “kill them.”

“One day, your time will come, and you will die the most disgusting death,” she says. She goes on to say, “When your time comes, I want you to remember my face so you can understand you will die the most disgusting death.” The man adds, “You have no idea how many Israelis came to this hospital, and I sent them to Jahannam.”

NSW Health Minister Ryan Park reacted swiftly, expressing his disgust at the video, calling the comments “vile, dehumanising, and unacceptable.” He stated that the NSW Health Department had launched a full investigation into the incident, and the matter was referred to NSW Police for further review. “If the investigation concludes that this behaviour has occurred, these individuals will no longer be working for NSW Health,” he added.

Jewish organizations have voiced their outrage over the incident. Alex Ryvchin, co-chief executive of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, called the video “utterly sickening,” condemning the “gleeful hatred” displayed by the individuals. “This is the kind of behavior that leads to violence, and it must be stamped out immediately,” he said.

NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey also expressed shock at the video, describing it as a reminder that antisemitism and hate speech can spread rapidly. “Most people will consider this to be unacceptable speech in any context, but especially from an employee of the New South Wales public service,” he stated. “This video shows that hate speech and antisemitism can spread like wildfire, and it is something that must be combated at every level.”

The Australian Medical Association (AMA) also condemned the comments, with President Dr. Kathryn Austin emphasizing that the health system should be a place free from hatred and division. “Our hospitals must remain safe havens for all patients, regardless of their background,” she said in a statement. The AMA referred to the Declaration of Geneva, which states that doctors should provide care to all patients without discrimination based on factors like nationality, ethnicity, or political affiliation.

The investigation is ongoing, and if the individuals involved are found to have made these comments, there is a strong call for them to be removed from their positions within the health system. The incident has sparked a larger conversation about antisemitism in Australia and the need for continued vigilance against hate speech.

“The man adds, “You have no idea how many Israelis came to this hospital, and I sent them to Jahannam.” ” The hospital worker in effect confessed to serial murder. And should be arrested immediately pending further investigation into circumstances of the past patients who died at that hospital.

Horrific! Maybe it pays to think twice before we go flying all over the world. Maybe this is a warning . In any case, good to know at least, who some of our enemies are – the ones admitting it. The rest? – may HKBH protect us from them and He should deal with them
