Is the suspect a male or female? The article doesn’t mention either way and I certainly can’t tell from the photos.

They view Jews as easy targets. Time to teach self defense in every Jewish classroom from 2 nd grade up. Should be mandatory subject, an hour a week minimum.

B”H, the girl is okay, shaken up, for sure, but okay. Please, parents, teach your children to always be aware of their surroundings, keep their head on a swivel; it could save them from such attacks, or, at the very least, give them a chance to not be taken by surprise, thus affording them the opportunity to protect themselves.

May the law find and punish the attacker, and may Hashem comfort and soothe the victim.
