BROOKLYN – Brooklyn Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein is urging the NYPD and city officials to take immediate action against a planned protest in Boro Park, which he says is a direct attempt to intimidate the local Jewish community.

The demonstration, scheduled for Tuesday evening at Lumiere Hall on 50th Street, is being promoted under the slogan “Flood Boro Park to Stop the Sale of Stolen Palestinian Land.” Organizers claim the protest is aimed at a real estate event they allege is facilitating the sale of land in “occupied Palestine.”

Eichenstein condemned the protest in a statement on social media, calling the organizers “Hamas sympathizers” and warning that such demonstrations have no place in the neighborhood. “Hate has no place in our community,” he wrote.

With tensions already high surrounding similar protests, it remains unclear how authorities will respond. The NYPD has not yet issued a statement regarding security measures for the event.

NYPD is more likely to prevent the antisemites from protesting, and cancelling the demonstration, if NYPD expects a VIOLENT counter protest and confrontation to result. A demonstration which is a threat to public safety is allowed to be cancelled by Police, despite issues of “free speech”. We don’t have to actually commit violence, Just raising the threat of violence coming from “uncontrolable elements” within our ranks, gives NYPD permission to stop our enemies from demonstrating.

When this same thing (selling land in Israel) happened where I’m from there was arranged for a heavy police presence.
The police made it clear where the Pro-Palis could & couldn’t protest & that attempting to move to & engage with the Jewish side will not end well.
All was calm.
I’m sure Yidden in Brooklyn have the power & connections to do the same or more.

As many reporters as possible should interview them and ask: are you here to protest against Israel or Jews? If they say Israel, rebuff that this here is USA and their actions are clearly racist. If they say Israel and Jews are one and same, rebuff that this here is USA and their actions are clearly racist. If they say Jews, rebuff that their actions are clearly racist. Get them to clearly admit and portray who they are – racists and their agenda – genocide of all Jews and that Israel and Gaza are really not central to their plans, just merely a current event to cry over.

If these real estate events, were handled in a surreptitious manner, and not openly advertised, those disruptive Gaza protesters would not readily find out about such gatherings, and would not come into our communities. The same thing occurred in L.A., and in Teaneck, NJ.

Why is it legal for them to do this? They have to get a permit. And it should be denied. We can’t stop anything president Trump does. Go and protest in Washington. What’s it got yo do with Boro park? If Adam’s allows this, we have no friend in Washington. Because Trump then wants it.
Maybe we should go protest in their neighborhoods

Why not let it happen on its own?

Yungeleit continue going to Kollel, ladies continue going shopping, businessmen go off to your offices, and workers do their work.

Ignoring is the best thing for them.

If a riot breaks out, it won’t help to blame them. We want to make sure it doesn’t happen. They don’t care if it does, but we do.
