JERUSALEM – Israel is preparing to receive the remains of four hostages from Hamas on Thursday, according to an Israeli official, following a ceasefire agreement. The exchange, which coincides with the 33rd day of the truce, has led the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to make necessary arrangements for the return.

The official confirmed that the bodies will be transferred to the Abu Kabir forensic institute by IDF ambulances, with the names of the hostages to be revealed on Thursday morning. Families will be notified once the identification process is complete.
While the Prime Minister’s Office has not yet confirmed these developments, the return of the bodies is expected to be followed by the release of three living hostages on Saturday, as part of the ongoing negotiations and humanitarian efforts.
If they give bodies, Israel should return bodies. Finding dead terrorists is no problem as every live terrorist in prison can be efficiently turned into a dead one should there be supply issues.
