Netanyahu, during a televised address, lauded Trump as “the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House,” citing his support for Israel’s position in the conflict.

“He has shown it through his visionary plan for Gaza, this is a plan which Israel fully supports,” Netanyahu said, referring to a U.S. proposal for a long-term solution in the Gaza Strip.

The plan, which has drawn criticism from some quarters, includes a potential U.S. takeover of Gaza and the relocation of its Palestinian population.

Netanyahu also thanked Trump for providing Israel with military equipment, stating that it “gives Israel the tools we need to finish the job against Iran’s terror axis.”

He further praised Trump for his pressure on Hamas to release Israeli hostages, saying that the U.S. “has our back.”

Netanyahu announced that Israel has accepted a proposal by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff to extend the temporary ceasefire in Gaza by 50 days, during which time negotiations for a permanent ceasefire will take place.

The plan calls for the immediate release of half of the hostages held by Hamas, with the remaining hostages to be released upon the agreement of a permanent ceasefire.

However, Netanyahu said that Hamas has rejected the proposal.

“Hamas had also put forward positions for a permanent ceasefire that are totally unacceptable,” he stated.

Netanyahu also announced that Israel will no longer allow goods and supplies into Gaza, citing concerns that Hamas diverts these resources for its operations.

“We will take further steps if Hamas continues to hold our hostages,” he warned.

Netanyahu concluded by thanking Trump for his efforts to return the hostages, bolster Israel’s security, and provide a future of prosperity and peace for the region.

As much as I can’t stand Bibi, unlike the other JINO who got a public smackdown, he knows HOW TO SAY THANK YOU! Always start with and never forget Hakarat HaTov.
