According to airport officials, the aircraft, which had been diverted to Denver due to an unspecified issue, was stationed at gate C38 when it suffered a major fire, producing visible smoke. Passengers were evacuated using emergency slides onto the plane’s wing as first responders rushed to the scene.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and as of 6:15 p.m., no injuries had been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Witnesses captured dramatic footage of the incident, showing thick smoke billowing from the aircraft while passengers scrambled to safety.

American Airlines and the Denver Fire Department have yet to release further details. This is a developing story, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.

Some passengers were observed carrying their luggage, during the evacuation. This slows down the process, and endangers the lives of other passengers. Incredible and astounding, in addition to stupid!
