JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news site reports that Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Sunday night killed at least 25 Palestinians, according to reports from three hospitals. The strikes came nearly a week after Israel ended its ceasefire with a surprise bombardment that killed hundreds.

This includes an Israeli strike that killed at least five people, including Hamas leader Ismail Barhoum, at Gaza’s Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, officials say Egypt has introduced a new proposal to try and get the Israel-Hamas ceasefire back on track.

Hamas would release five living captives, including American-Israeli Idan Alexander, in return for Israel allowing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and a weeks-long pause in the fighting, an Egyptian official said. Israel would also release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners as part of the exchange. The proposal is similar to one submitted by Steve Witkoff during the recent Qatar negotiations.

A Hamas official said the group had “responded positively” to the proposal, without elaborating. Previously Hamas had rejected the proposal to release live hostages, offering only to release detailed information about the hostages in return for a ceasefire and a return of humanitarian aid.

No Hamas! All of them NOW!and I hope Israel won’t buckle and send more “humanitarian” aid to bolster these savages. Starve them and their supporters into submission.
