JERUSALEM (VINnews) — Hamas kidnappers allegedly told rescued hostage Shlomi Ziv that the terrorist organization had operatives on American campuses, according to a Monday lawsuit by October 7 victims, with the terrorists showing him articles and photographs of Columbia university protests, according to a Jerusalem Post report.

In a lawsuit filed Monday to the New York Southern District Court against Within Our Lifetime and its leader Nerdeen Kiswani, Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine and representative Maryam Alwan, Columbia-Barnard Jewish Voice for Peace and representative Cameron Jones, and Columbia University Apartheid Divest and lead negotiator Mahmoud Khalil, Ziv, who was rescued last June in an IDF operation in central Gaza, said that his Hamas captors referred to protests planned by the defendants when bragging about having American operatives.
The lawsuit alleged not only that Columbia SJP renewed its dormant Instagram activity three minutes before the Oct. 7th attack and National SJP appeared to have produced propaganda material during or before the massacre, but argued that the affiliated groups had been financed and supported by Hamas through organizations that the terrorist group founded.
The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas founded the Palestine Committee in 1988 to fund and support its operations, the suit alleged, creating arms such as Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development and the Islamic Association for Palestine.
After HLF and IAP were exposed, key members of the group allegedly founded by American Muslims for Palestine. AMP sponsored the first National SJP convention, which according to the suit has no independent corporate structure and is controlled by AMP.
Columbia SJP is a chapter of NSJP and WOL is a rebranded New York City Students for Justice in Palestine. The suit noted that Columbia JVP has a close relationship with the local SJP chapter, as do the national bodies. The suit alleged that JVP is use to provide cover to SJP against charges of antisemitism. CUAD, a coalition of hundreds of student groups, according to the suit ceased to be dormant until November 2023 after the Columbia SJP and JVP chapters were banned, and according to the suit has been acting through CUAD.
“Upon information and belief, and based upon statements made to Plaintiff Shlomi Ziv by his Hamas captor, Hamas and AMP/NSJP provided financial, organizational, and other support to CUAD and the Columbia AMP/NSJP Affiliates for the Encampment,” read the suit.
Khalil, who has represented CUAD through the protests in New York City, is now at the center of the US federal government’s campaign to deport pro-Hamas activist students from the country.
CUAD, WOL, and Columbia SJP have repeatedly issued support for the concept of armed political violence, and as noted in the suit, have collaborated with groups like Samidoun, which is not sanctioned by the US for serving as a branch for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Last March, CUAD, NSJP, and WOL hosted Samidoun International Coordinator Charlotte Kates and her husband alleged PFLP senior official Khaled Barakat in a “Resistance 101” lecture that preceded the encampments. During the lecture a leading NSJP member complained about the threat of imprisonment for contact with Hamas, and Barakat related that he speaks to Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and PFLP members about how they care about the support from American students more than what the US president does.
Kates asserted that there was “nothing wrong with being a member of Hamas, being a leader of Hamas, being a fighter in Hamas, these are the people that are on the front lines defending Palestine and fighting for its liberation.”
In an October 8 NSJP toolkit, it was argued that SJP chapters were part of a “unity intifada” movement for all Palestinian people and Gazan terrorist “factions” that appeared to be “participating under unified command.”
“We as Palestinian students are part of this movement, not in solidarity with this movement,” said NSJP. “This is a moment of mobilization for all Palestinians. We must act as part of this movement. All of our efforts continue the work and resistance of Palestinians on the ground.”
Ziv was working as a security guard at the Nova Music Festival, and fended off terrorists and evacuated civilians before being captured and taken to Gaza. He was held hostage for 246 days before being rescued alongside three other captives in a June IDF operation.
How much did they sue for? I want to know if it is enough to bring these organizations to their knees.
There is so much evidence against these terrorists organizations ,which mask themselves as being Jewish, AND THEY ARE NOT, yet they exist and flourish with tens of millions of dollars supporting their Jew hatred. Liberal judges are preventing Jewish students from getting justice, denying their civil rights to live without fear and trepidation, as many do in a world where antisemitism has increased 800% since Covid.. Jewish students are in pain from the hell they have been subjected to on campuses. Try doing this to Blacks or Chinese students and war will break lose. These liberal judges were appointed by Obama , who despised Israel and the Jews, called out Israel at the UN in Dec. 2015 and declared the Jewish ancestral homeland belonging to Fakestinians. You can protest, but you can’t say “put Jews in ovens”, you can’t deny a chair in the college classroom by blocking entrances to universities; you can’t shout ” from the river to the sea”; you can’t shout, ” We will do Oct. 7 over and over and over again!” . . . . You can’t incite to kill Jews.
We are very lucky to have President Trump. Harris would have allowed the burning of Jewish communities, synogogues, businesses , homes and yeshivas, liked it happened in Canada under Trudeau and is happening to our families today in Australia under Peggy Wong and Albanese, who sits in the UN, too, and maligns Israel. The last 12 years under Obama, who took his oath on the Qoran, and demented Biden, whom Obama controlled has put American Jews back in Nazi Germany in the 1930s, where they tortured and killed our grandparents, where schools and universities blocked their doors so our grandparents could not study, where they walked into the businesses and homes of our grandparents and told them to get out, leave, now the Germans controlled them. In 2021 , Black Lives Matter conducted a pogrom in a Jewish neighborhood in LA, Calif. It was a three day Jewish holiday, Shavuoth and Shabbath. BLM and Black Muslims burned and destroyed Jewish businesses, while Jews prayed in their synagogues; a Yeshiva was vandalized and so were private homes. BLM was resurrected under Obama, formerly known as the old Black Panther Party. This was the Young Black Panther Party. They hated white people, they hated the police, they hated the Jews, they hated Americs and burned down large cities with no consequences. Leftists Democrats including Kamela Harris bailed them out. Hamas supporting Muslims watched with them in LA. Tamika Mallory was the leader of the youth movement. Not a word was uttered from Nancy Pelosi or her nephew, Gavin Newsome or the Biden/ Harris team. Know who supports us; not a Democrat in Congress except our Pennsylvania Senator, Fetterman, who has common sense, a strong personality, and clearly sees the difference between wrong and right..
If you have not abandoned the Democrats until now, set yourself free before Pesach. Vote Republican and know the difference between protected and free speech and a call for violence, which is definately a crinal act and must be punished. The pro Hamas Squad has to go, professors, students, advisors, organizers and we must follow the money trail. We would have known what is going on campus if we followed the money trail. Pres. Trump needs 20 more years to fix the wrongs Obama, Biden and the Leftists perpetrated on this country. Leftist judges rule over a president? When did this happen? Why does it take so long to get to the Supreme Court. We know why. Trump only has 4 years and the Leftists, the Squad, the Socialists, those who want America to fail whom Soros and his minions support want to waste every day of Trump’s presidency.
I’ve never been a fan of Bannon and his conspiracy theories, but I like the idea of having Trump run for another term since his first term was disrupted by lies, ictions, impeachment trials, Democrats bribes, Hillary’s Russian Collusion and the Dossier she paid for. None of the Democrats have been jailed. They tried to jail him again as soon as he announced he’s running; even tried to kill him. No one sits in jail.
