PHILADELPHIA, PA (VINnews)-In a candid conversation on Kylie Kelce’s podcast, former First Lady Michelle Obama firmly dismissed any speculation about a future presidential bid, stating she has “zero intention” of ever running for office. Her remarks put to rest persistent rumors about her political ambitions, emphasizing the toll such a role takes on family life.

“And so when people ask me would I ever run, the answer is no,” Obama said unequivocally. She went on to highlight the personal sacrifices involved, particularly for her daughters, Malia and Sasha. “If you ask me that [question], then you have absolutely no idea the sacrifice that your kids make when your parents are in that role,” she explained.
Obama, who spent eight years in the White House alongside former President Barack Obama, stressed that her disinterest in a presidential run stems not only from a lack of passion for politics but also from a desire to protect her family’s privacy. “Not only am I not interested in politics in that way, but the thought of putting my girls back into that spotlight when they are just now establishing themselves—it’s like, you know, okay. I think we’ve done enough,” she added.
The former First Lady’s comments reflect a focus on her daughters’ independence as they carve out their own paths, free from the intense public scrutiny that comes with political life. For now, Michelle Obama seems content to leave the political arena behind, prioritizing her family’s well-being over any calls to return to Washington.
“ I think we’ve done enough.”
Yes, Michelle, you are 100 pct correct!
As if anyone would have voted for her to begin with.. ?
Who, in their right mind would vote for this nincompoop, just because her nincompoop sidekick was a tenant in the WH deosn’t mean that she also deserves a shot at the WH.
HECK NO, GET LOST !!!
I do not want to see her in politics but can she stop holding other women back like this? Why did Barack get to be the president without worrying about the toll it takes on family life, huh? She should have insisted on making him a stay at home dad. We’d all be better off.
To quote Shakespeare, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks”. Sounds like she is just waiting for her Dem friends and landsleit to beg her to reconsider and deign to run for president. She actually could get many votes, but no shoo in.
Wow. So we were all waiting with baited breath to see if Iron Mike would be coronated as the next King. Well, it seems like Hakeem Jeffries is not going to let the depressed one just jump ahead of him.
As much as I hate the obamas. She’s right. And they also have everything in the world they want. Money, fame, let them take care of themselves….
Again I think they did a terrible job. But this is all I’ve got to comment on this post.
